Virtual Serial Port Driver

Virtual Serial Port Driver creates pairs of virtual serial ports in your system, that are virtually connected to each other.

Physical null-modem cables are not required. You can transfer any data between applications using virtual serial ports as if they were real serial ports.

For other Windows applications, virtual ports will be seen exactly as two real serial ports connected via null-modem cable. You can select any virtual serial port number for virtual pair.

Virtual Serial Port ActiveX Control

Virtual Serial Port ActiveX Control creates pairs of virtual serial ports in your system and lets your application fully control one of these custom virtual ports.

You can control created virtual com port directly from your application, emulating all settings of a real serial port. Created virtual serial ports look like real serial ports for other Windows applications. From your application you can control data sent to virtual serial port by other applications and respond to them by sending own data to virtual serial port, which will be received by other Windows applications like from real port.

Serial Splitter

Allows you to share real serial port between several applications in such a way, that all applications will receive same data from real serial port simultaneously. It is achieved by creating virtual serial ports, which are same copies of real ports. Every application will think that it is working with serial port in exclusive mode. One of them will be able also to send data to real serial port. Virtual serial port can have any port number from 1 to 255. With Serial Splitter it is possible to connect two or more applications to one real serial port. For example you can share GPS Receiver between several applications.

Shared Serial Ports

Shared Serial Ports is an advanced utility, the purpose of which is to share real serial ports between multiple applications in the way, that all applications will receive same data from real serial port simultaneously. It is achieved by creating virtual serial ports, which are same copies of real one. Each application will think that it is working with serial port in exclusive mode. All virtual serial ports will be able also to send data to real serial port. Also, you will be able to set permissions to read, write or change control lines state for every application separately.

Advanced Serial Port Terminal

You can select any port numbers for virtual serial port pair as well as change their names from COM to VSP. With VSPD Mobile you can connect one application to another using virtual serial ports pair. Applications will be able to exchange data. This solution can be used, for example, for GPS simulation programs.

It can be useful if you need several applications to work with the same serial port on your mobile device simultaneously. Finally, one program works with one virtual port, the other one with another port and so on, but in fact all of them work with the same split real port.

With Serial Splitter Mobile you can connect one application to the other, split real ports into virtual ones. As a result, applications can exchange data. Such solutions can be useful for GPS simulation systems.
