Create custom virtual serial ports and fully control them
Serial Port ActiveX Control is a powerful component that enables your application to work with serial ports. It is designed to communicate with RS232/422/485-compliant external devices, such as modems, bar code readers, PBX, medical equipment, IrDA, Bluetooth and USB serial devices, etc. Serial Port features detailed settings of a serial port, various methods for writing to and reading from the port, and events for serial port monitoring.

Add serial port handling features to your application
Embedding Serial Port ActiveX Control into your software is an easy way to enable it to control serial port activity. Examples for Microsoft VC++ 6, Microsoft VC++ .NET, Microsoft VB 6, Microsoft VB .NET, ASP (VBScript and JavaScript), Borland Delphi 7, Borland C++ Builder 6 are included.
Monitor serial port activity
Thanks to Serial Port ActiveX Control's full set of events and properties you can easily monitor all serial port activity (port opened/closed, data sent/received, etc.). Directly from your application you can modify serial port settings, such as timeouts, serial port configuration, line control, hardware flow control, line signals, and special characters.
Manage signal lines of serial ports
Serial Port ActiveX Control fully supports all hardware signal lines (DTR/DSR, RTS/CTS, RING, ERROR, DCD, etc.). DTR of the local port is connected to DSR and DCD of the remote port; and RTS of the local port, to CTS of the remote port.
