Directly from your application you can modify serial port settings, such as timeouts, serial port configuration, line control, hardware flow control, line signals, and special characters.

Manage signal lines of serial ports

Serial Port ActiveX Control fully supports all hardware signal lines (DTR/DSR, RTS/CTS, RING, ERROR, DCD, etc.). DTR of the local port is connected to DSR and DCD of the remote port; and RTS of the local port, to CTS of the remote port.
