This component supports all the events, properties and methods necessary for checking a serial port's state and for intercepting all signal line events (Ring, RTS, DCD, DTR, RTS, etc.) and control functions (hardware flow control, baud rate, timeouts). Besides, Serial Port Monitor ActiveX provides low-level access to the serial port via standard IRP functions and IOCTL requests.
