Split serial ports, join them into one, or create complex COM port bundlesIf your computer doesn't have or have only one COM port (and it is already taken), and you work with some programs or devices which work with COM ports only, you may be needing to split real COM port to several virtual ports (as many as you wish). You also have the possibility to join many real ports into one virtual, in case you need some application to work with several devices at once.

Using Serial Port Splitter you can:
Split a serial port
Thus creating unlimited number of virtual ports. Serial Splitter enables you to split one real RS232 port into several virtual ports, each acting as an exact copy of the real one. Thus, you can split COM1 into COM2, COM3, COM4, etc., and assign them any port numbers, from 1 to 255.
Bundle serial ports
Serial Splitter allows you to create a many-to-many ports connection, involving any number of real or virtual COM ports, which may be useful for handling data streams.
Join several serial ports
You may want to join some COM ports into one virtual port in order to let one application receive data from several devices.
For example: You need to merge data from two sensors connected to COM7 and COM 8. Eltima Serial Splitter joins real COM 7 and COM 8 ports (IN side of the bundle) into one virtual COM9 (OUT side of the bundle) for you.
